Highlights:
- 12,000 square foot addition to a 36,000 square foot existing facility
- Creates a homogenous facility that meets the overall Master Plan
- The design process placed particular emphasis in creating a balance between new elements and the building's existing vernacular so that the facility does not appear to have any additions
- A new sloped roof was added to replace the existing flat roof
- The facility was completely reorganized around a new central organizing space the acts as a flexible program space as well as popular materials area. The space features movable shelving and a fireplace
