Highlights:
- 27,000 square feet
- The goal of the Master Plan was to make the library more relevant to today's student academic library information needs
- Plan recommended adding outdoor seating, an entry pavilion, and entry walkway to make the library more prominent on the campus
- The new interiors would transform the first floor into an active Learning Commons with a central Circulation/Reference Desk with visibility of the entire floor
- The Plan also included computers in a variety of seating configurations, study seating, lounge seating, group/quiet study, popular materials area with cyber café with media and popular periodicals, print reference collections, computer lab, and a rare book/quiet study with display
