Highlights:

- Challenge was to either add or renovate every aspect of the building, which would affect the entire hospital
- Natural materials including stone and wood that were indigenous to the area are being used to celebrate the area's history
- Height, light, air, and volume in public gathering areas are in the design to warm the hospital's interior
- Project includes a new entrance, ED, SDS, Endoscopy, Med-Surg Unit, ICU, Dialysis, Mobile Tech, Pharmacy, and a new MOB
