- 227,000 square foot new construction plus associated renovation; 974-car parking garage
- Located in the core of The Ohio State University Medical Campus and adjacent to the Heart & Lung Research Institute to facilitate translational medicine
- Consolidates all of the Medical Center's heart services under one roof
- Central multi-story atrium enhances wayfinding and the healing environment
- Ninety universal patient rooms are designed to be versatile and can be used for intensive care or extended stay patients
- State-of-the-art magnetic resonance and non-invasive imaging facilities, operating rooms, and catheterization laboratories, as well as other diagnostic areas adjacent to universal rooms
- Hospital and garage frame a new campus quadrangle that better integrates the medical center into the overall campus context
- Quadrangle offers whole new image, entry sequence, and focus for the medical campus
