These Family Birthing Suites consist of eight LDRP rooms, four exam rooms that can double as antepartum rooms or delivery rooms, a C-Section Suite, Level II special care nursery, and family "nesting" room
The design emphasis was on creating a special, private, family oriented setting for the birthing experience
Daylight permeates the building though the use of exterior windows in the rooms, clerestory corridor lighting, and large areas of glazing in the family lounge
