- These Family Birthing Suites consist of eight LDRP rooms, four exam rooms that can double as antepartum rooms or delivery rooms, a C-Section Suite, Level II special care nursery, and family “nesting” room
- The design emphasis was on creating a special, private, family oriented setting for the birthing experience
- Daylight permeates the building though the use of exterior windows in the rooms, clerestory corridor lighting, and large areas of glazing in the family lounge
