DesignGroup Ranked as a “Best Architecture Firm to Work For”

DesignGroup was recently ranked in the Top 15 nationally on ZweigWhite’s 2009 list of the “Best Architecture Firms to Work For.” DesignGroup also ranked 8th nationally in the mid-size firm category. This is the second consecutive year DesignGroup has been honored with a Top 20 ranking.

Firms that made the list were selected based on their commitment to provide a positive work environment and challenging and interesting work opportunities for their employees and were also selected based on the results of a comprehensive survey of workplace practices and an independent survey of employees.

This year, over half of DesignGroup’s employees participated in the national survey. The survey asked what employees seek, value, and also avoid, when choosing a firm for their own career paths. According to the survey results, 87.5% of DesignGroup employees believe that their firm is one of the best firms in the industry to work for. Some of the specifics that DesignGroup employees value from their employer include work-life balance, training, flexible work hours, and a full complement of benefits.
